Mediating the Tension between Data Sharing and Privacy: The Case of DMA and GDPR

📚 The Digital Markets Act (DMA) is now in effect since November 2022, posing complex challenges when balancing its data sharing obligations with the privacy requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

🎉I'm happy to announce that our research paper, "Mediating the Tension between Data Sharing and Privacy: The Case of DMA and GDPR," ca-authored by Linda Weigl, Tom Barbereau, Johannes Sedlmeir, has been accepted for publication at the European Conference of Information Systems (ECIS) in June!

🎯 Our goal? To explore how privacy-enhancing technologies can help strike the right balance between data sharing and privacy, ultimately facilitating legal compliance without compromising innovation and competition in the digital world. 🌐🚀
